Yeah so I haven't blogged all week because I haven't blogged. No excuses really. I'm sure you never really missed me though (*reels in empty bait for compliments/"awww course we did"*). Aaaaaaaactually I just remembered I blogged on musicology this week. Cam'ron's protégé Vado features Mavado on the same track here

Tune of the Day: I-Octane 'No Love Inna Dem'

Tune has been on serious repeat for the past couple of weeks. Then yesterday up pops the video. I-Octane has been one of the stand out artists in reggae/dancehall this year. Followed on from the smash 'Mama You Alone' and the 09-010 tribute 'Lose A Friend' very well with hits like 'My Life' amongst others. Lyrics in the second song are heartfelt too. Gotta love the emotion in I-Octane's voice

White band win Reggae Grammy x Koffee x Skillibeng

So a white American reggae band called Soja won the Best Reggae album award at the Grammy's? And you care because? You feel Jamaicans are losing reggae because the Grammy's (a white institution) gave their white American man award to a white American reggae band?
